2026 Field Day Event

The Greater Beloit Amateur Radio Club will be hosting an ARRL Field Day Site starting Friday June 26 through Sunday June 28 at the Janesville Fire Traning Center located at:

Time:
Friday Setup - 5PM - 9PM
Saturday Setup - 9AM - 1PM
Operating - 1PM Saturday - 1PM Sunday
Sunday Tear Down - 1PM to 4PM

Setup  Information:
We will be setting up in the basement of the main fire training building. Below is an image of the proposed site layout (click on the thumbnail to see larger version).

Power will be provided by the clubs 12 KW generator from about 12:45PM Saturday to 1PM Sunday. 

Stations:
ICOM IC-7300 (cw)
Yaesu FT-991A (digital)
Kenwood TS-590 (phone)

We will be using the clubs band pass filters on all stations.
We will be using N3FJP logging software for all 3 stations.
If you plan on operating and/or logging, you may want to bring anything special needed to make your operating / logging easier like pencil/paper, headphones/splitter, key/paddle/bug, hand/foot PTT switch, etc...

Saturday evening meal:
The club meal Saturday evening will be pizza from Lisa's in Janesville. Time will be some time after 6PM. The club will also have water bottles available.
 If you plan on attending for an extended period, you may want to bring snacks and drinks of your choice.
