Secretary Report:

Dean-K9FLO read the minutes from our February 6, 2023, video meeting.    Recommended for Approval by Chuck-wd9bb and seconded by Kevin-n9egf.          

Treasurer Report:  Greg-k9gjn reviewed the status of the Club funds and there are now 20 paid up members.     Brett-k9by we have 13 members who are also ARRL members witch meets our ARRL club insurance requirements.     Greg-k9gjn PayPal is working well!    A motion to approve the treasures report by Lyndon-wa9jld seconded by Dean-k9flo.     

Old Business:         

Brett-k9by the new in person meeting location will be at the Beloit Library starting April 3 at 06:30 pm.   The room has been reserved thru August 7, 2023.        Brett-k9by the Library wants us keep them up to date on any schedule changes.      Brett-k9by informed us our July meeting would be during the Forth holiday, should we reschedule or cancel the July meeting.     We had a discussion on having the July meeting and it was decided to not have the July meeting since it was so close to the Summer Field-day event.    Brian-kd9qvb made a motion to not have the July meeting  and it was second by Chuck-wd9bb.     We voted all in favor of not having the July meeting.      Brett-k9by will notify the Library and will also setup video conferencing at the April meeting for the people that can’t attend in person.      Foxhunt May 13 after breakfast.     Chuck-wd9bb will be having an antenna building workshop after this Saturday’s (3/11) breakfast which ends about 10am and then to Chuck’s QTH for antenna building party.    Brian-kd9qvb is it ok to bring a non-ham to the antenna building?    Brett-k9by yes all are welcome.      Brian-kd9qvb has offered to bring up the up-coming Foxhunt on the Jimmy Friday Fun net.     Brett-k9by feel free to advertise it on any net and we will also have a prize for the winner.    Winter field results: 4800 total points (3800pts and 1000 bonus points) operated over 12hours.      This Sunday is the Wisconsin QSO party from 1pm to 8pm CDT.   Bob-w9ewz hopes to contact everyone and Greg-k9gjn said there would be a least 5 active in Rock County hams.  The QSO party is open to all.     If you need more information see: warac.org and the party is being hosted by the “West Alice Amateur Radio Club.”      

New Business:  Jefferson Hamfest March 19 open for vendors at 6am, public at 8am.   Chuck-wd9bb has bought 3 tables see Chuck-wd9bb for table space.    Brett-k9by we have elections, there are three nominations to be on the Board.     Any Nomination?      Greg-k9gjn nominated Brett-k9by, Lyndon-wa9jld and Chuck-wd9bb and seconded Bob-w9ewz any more nominations? None.     A term is two years odd then even.    Motion to close Nominations by Lyndon-wa9jld seconded by Brian-kd9qvb.
